Nicole attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Chad, have three children, two sons-in-law, and one adorable granddaughter. Caitlyn and her husband Brandon live in Atlanta with their daughter, Harper Grace; Kylee and her husband Brendan live in Birmingham; and Keaton is a student-athlete (football) at Auburn University.

Nicole has been on staff with Backpack Buddies since the fall of 2018. Her role includes coordinating all volunteer opportunities, publishing the quarterly newsletter, managing email inquiries, and assisting with day-to-day logistics. She considers it a true blessing to be able to give back to her community through this work.
